Parsnips, black holes, a drunk dog and a disabled prince – all have featured in the fourteen weird and wonderful operas and musicals written and composed by David Haines.  Trained in Bristol, London and Canada, David has worked with all types and ages of people – with professionals at London’s Wigmore Hall and New York

’s Carnegie Recital Hall, with amateurs – both children and adults - in venues ranging from potato barns to the Queen Elizabeth Hall, from rain-drenched woods to abandoned quarries.  There is much more information about David and his work at www.DavidHaines.co.uk.

Steve Newton
In 1996, Steve formed ART  WORKS - working as a sessional artist, travelling across the South West to offer a range of art and craft sessions to a very wide range of groups.
He is developing his interest in puppetry - now offering shadow puppet shows as part of a workshop day in schools. Steve is a member of the Devon Puppeteers and is working on a rather 'dark' punch and judy show "A DARK CORNER" which he intends to take onto the ‘streets’. He is also learning about Animation and has an EOS DV Animation Controller which he will be using to create Animated films using his puppets.
